The 6th Nile Basin Development Forum was hosted by the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Due to the travel and assembly restrictions caused by the novel global pandemic, Covid-19, Webinars on the technical paper presentations were conducted from 9th March to 15th April 2021 via a virtual platform, Zoom and live streamed. The closing event that caps and concludes the 6th NBDF was conducted through a hybrid of a physical and virtual platform on the 6th and 7th May 2021. The event was segmented into three sessions; viz strategic assessment, investments, and governance, culminating into a high level panel. A field visit was organized by the host country and took place on 8th May 2021.
