Executive Summary of Module 2 of Phase I of the Eastern Nile Power Trade Program Study, which assesses the existing market and power trade situation in the Eastern Nile countries. The Module is organized in four Volumes: Volume 1: Executive Summary of Module 2; Volumes 2, 3, 4: Market and Trade Assessment for Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan, respectively, analysing the existing situation in each country - the electric sector, generation types (hydro, thermal, geothermal, etc.), power trade, and transmission systems.
