Abstract

This component of the Eastern Nile Irrigation and Drainage Studies aims to contribute to enhancing food security, reducing rural poverty and population pressures in the region, with the associated benefit of improving the environment, through an Engineering Sub-component, to identify and study at feasibility level the development of irrigated agriculture in the Dinger-Bereha Irrigation Development Zone in Ethiopia.
