Volume 3.1 (Analysis of Network Expansion in Egypt) of the Report of Module 6 (Coordinated Investment Planning) of Phase I of the Eastern Nile Power Trade Program Study, implemented by ENTRO from 2006 – 2008. It analyses the behaviour of the transmission system planned for 2015-16 (based on 2015 planning data), and Load Flow in normal, N-1 and in N-2 situations for the peak demand. Due to the number of reinforcements proposed around Cairo, the N-1 situations were analysed on the spine between High Dam and Cairo, where the interconnection is most likely to be connected.
