Welcome to our latest newsletter, the fourth this year. I sincerely hope all four issues have helped to keep you updated on our latest news. The last quarter of 2017 has been quite a busy one for us as you will find out in this issue. Read about the well-attended 5th Nile Basin Development Forum (NBDF) that took place in Kigali in October. Also find out who were winners of the Nile Media Awards 2017 edition; 12 journalists were recognized for excellent reporting on Nile Cooperation issues during the 5th NBDF.Next year in February, the NBI and friends of the Nile will gather for the annual commemoration of the establishment of the unprecedented institution, the Nile Basin initiative. Find out which Member State will host the event and when.
